The W3C Office in Hellas (W3C-Hellas) is situated at the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), an R&D center supervised by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Hellenic Ministry of Development.
FORTH, recognising the importance of science, technology and innovation in today's world, is actively pursuing high quality basic and applied research, develops innovative technology, collaborates with industry within and outside Hellas, promotes specialised services and products, develops Science and Technology Parks, has created spin-off companies and has educational activities in collaboration with other academic and research institutions.
